Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) teaches people how to give initial care until professional treatment is accessed. It also helps to dispel fears some people have when coming across someone who seems to be experiencing mental ill health.
These MHFA courses have input from co-trainers with lived experience of mental health problems.
These courses are for anyone over the age of 16 who lives with, works with, or supports young people (aged 11-18) and free to anyone who works, lives, vounteers or studies in Islington. Most courses are held in the day between 9.30am and 5.00pm unless specified otherwise.
