The Annual Monitoring Report (AMR) reviews how effective the council has been in using its planning policies to positively influence the development of the borough. The impact of these policies is assessed across a number of subject areas, including Housing, Employment and Open Space. The AMR also monitors progress within the Core Strategy Key Areas and looks at a range of contextual indicators to give a wide ranging picture of Islington within specific monitoring periods.
Each subject area has a range of indicators, largely identified in the Core Strategy, against which progress is assessed.
The 2014 AMR is currently due to be published in August 2015. The council have produced an interim report of the 2014 Housing Trajectory available here.
