Looking to get active in Olympics year? Don’t know how to find information on new sports activities? Wish there was a website with local and London wide sports listings? Get Active London is a new website that is here to make your sporting ambitions come true!
This is a new community led website that has the most comprehensive list of sports activities and sports venues in Islington. It allows users to look in one place for all their local sports listings, searching via borough, postcode and keyword as well being able to narrow their search criteria to suit their specific needs.
The Get Active London website has been awarded the ‘London 2012 Inspired’ mark in recognition of its aim to create a more active London, before, during and after the 2012 Games.
Get Active London is free to use and free to post activity listings on. There are currently 4,000 activities and venues listed in London, including over 200 in Islington. From junior football clubs to senior walking groups, there are activities for all residents.
