If you live in Islington and you're aged between 16 to 19 (up to 25 years with learning difficulties and/or physical disabilities), you can find out about employment or training opportunities at the Go Live! job fair next Wednesday. Parents and carers are also welcome.
The fair offers a great opportunity to meet lots of employers and training organisations under one roof. You can apply for apprenticeships, sign up for training that will give you skills for working life, or just get to know the many opportunities available to you.
Some of the organisations attending include the British Youth Council, Goals UK, Construction Youth Trust, Smart Training (childcare apprenticeships) and Springboard Islington.
The event will be hosted by Connexions Personal Advisers, who can offer support in getting ready for employment (CV writing, interview training) and keep you up to date with upcoming job opportunities.
