Islington Local History Centre has started a new project to catalogue and preserve the Sadler's Wells Theatre archive. The archive is a fascinating historical collection covering the six theatres that have stood on this site since 1683, with material including from 18th century playbills, Victorian pantomime scripts and modern programmes and photos.
